Our classes at YOGA LIMBS follow the limb of Hatha Yoga. Hatha ("physical" or "forceful") Yoga is the classic approach to Yoga that highlights physical detail, focus and breath awareness. YOGA LIMBS classes are based in the Iyengar tradition, emphasizing alignment, the use of props, and an in-depth understanding of the body, breath, and mind. The individual instructor may include learning and/or practices from other traditions as well, based on her or his unique background and interests.
YOGA LIMBS offers many types of Yoga classes and programs all based on Hatha Yoga. They include: Group Classes, Specialty Classes, Private Classes, Corporate Yoga, and Yoga Workshops.

Guidelines for Practice
To ensure that our students have a pleasant and rewarding experience at our studio, we ask you to please observe the following guidelines when attending classes at YOGA LIMBS.
-
Arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in, change clothes, and prepare for class.
-
Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing that is flexible and non-binding, such as shorts, tee-shirts, and stretchy workout wear. Hatha yoga is a vigorous practice requiring freedom of movement: be prepared to sweat.
-
Hatha yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Wait about three hours after a large meal, two hours after a light snack.
-
Inform the teacher prior to class if you have any serious health conditions such as neck, back, or joint injuries, recent surgery, high blood pressure, pregnancy, etc.
-
For the comfort of others, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
-
YOGA LIMBS is a CELL FREE ZONE: Please turn off all cell phones and pagers before entering the YOGA LIMBS facilities and leave your belongings in your locker.
